Billy's Football Career

Read in the paper this morning that Pulaski Hi beat Virginia Hi, 3-2. I certainly do hope they win the championship of the state. It surely is cold this morning and Mr. Crow didn’t build a fire in the furnace either. I am glad it rained last night for it would have frosted + killed all the fruit. The Debate at the society was changed to the question: Resolved: “That women are fickle” It was very humorous. There were about ten speakers and fifty-one interruptions as I counted. I was on for a reading. Charlie went to Glade and didn’t get back until about 2:30 am. He went to a party and I fear got in with the wrong kind of girl. I wrote to mama at about 11:30 p.m.
